The Rob Mac Racing teams move north of the border for the 6th Round of the ViSK British Superbike Championship.
The Knockhill circuit will play host to the series and with the iconic Forth Road Bridge viewable from the circuit there could not be a better back drop for this thrilling 2009 Championship.
Chris Walker, Motorpoint Henderson's Yamaha Superbike is relishing the battles this tight and demanding circuit ensues and is more than happy with the progress of his new 2009 Yamaha R1.
Chris Walker
"Knockhill has always pretty good to me, I enjoy the physical demands and the close racing we always have here, hopefully the heat wave will continue and the guys get a good crowd.
We all enjoy putting a show on up here and the fans show their appreciation with great support for this event.
I am gaining in confidence and feel we can run with the front bunch and mix it up come race day"
Graeme Gowland Chris's young team mate in the Motorpoint Henderson's Yamaha team is in the same frame of mind.
Graeme now fully fit and one of the strongest young riders on the track is relishing race day and the tough work out Knockhill gives the rider.
Graeme Gowland
"Riding 100% fit is such fun! Trying to get by with a few sore bits of your body is part of this job and you have to get on with but right now I feel great and can't wait to get going.
Knockhill his tough on the body and mind and 110% concentration and focus is needed every time you take to the track"
New team mate and running in the red corner under the NW200 Coca Cola banner is Jon Kirkham.
Jon the current Henderson's R1 Cup Champion is on a fast learning curve with the Superbike as Knockhill will be his second ride for Rob Mac Racing.
Jon Kirkham
"I am getting more familiar with the bike now and Knockhill should be a good scrap come Sunday, I like this track and have had to step up my training for all this horse power!"
Dan Linfoot of the NW200 Coca Cola Yamaha Supersport team is making good progress from injury sustained at the last event, a broken foot had to be operated on and he is now on the road to recovery and is looking at Brands Hatch for his return to duties.
